So it seems that my blog has been down, for several days. But it is up and running again.
So incase you were worried. I’m still here. I’ll still be posting.
And here is something. If you haven’t seen the movie “Amazing Grace” you need to. It is an excellent story, and an incredibly well produced movie.
When I’m in a funk, I can always get myself out of it by either listening to music - either Tommy Walker or Hillsong United, or reading some Elizabeth Elliot. Both tend to right my perspective.
What do you do?
Ok, you have to try these. They are soooo good. Super thin. I’m addicted. They are just like the chips you get at a mexican restaurant - not the so called “restaurant style” that are nothing like restaurant chips, these are really like them.
They are Art’s Tortilla Chips. They come in a red and yellow bag.
Apparently you can only get them in KC at Hyvees, Hen Houses and Price Choppers, but no fear you non-Kansas Citians cause you can also order them online at www.artsmexican.com - and if you don’t live in KC, let me just say, they are so worth the extra effort to order online. I have no idea how much shipping is, but a bag is only $1.99!
I realize that I’m way too excited about tortilla chips here, but I just had to share. And for what it’s worth, they seem to be significantly more healthy than other tortilla chips, so much so that I’m wondering if the nutrition informaion on the bag is correct. In a 1 oz. serving (14 chips) they have just 60 calories, 1g fat, 12g carbs, and 1g protein, that’s like way less than half of any others that I found… so seriously, I’m questioning it, cause they are made from the same ingredients, so I don’t know how they are so much less, but I’ll just accept it, and stop questioning, cause that means I can eat twice as many, right?
Last Friday Matt declared that this week would be health week at Honeystreet. He said he wanted to see if eating healthy helped with our productivity. Shortly after making the announcement he put me in charge. My first action was to ban all of the power/energy drinks.
Matt’s response was “how are we supposed to get anything done”. On Monday Matt and Derek went to a local restaurant and had hamburgers for lunch. They didn’t consult me. Yesterday they conned me into going to mexican, I’m a sucker for mexican. Note that Derek proceeded to order a hamburger at the mexican place. Then today they some how talked me into pizza for lunch.
I think it’s going well.
