Stuff Christians Like is a very sarcastic website that points out some of the common things Christians do that maybe we need to reevaluate. I thought this link was good. Enjoy!
The honeystreet blog is up and running. We seem to be using it right now, but I make no guarantees as to the reliability of the content or frequency of posts. :) Go check it out. www.honeystreet.com/blog
I’m not one of these singles that hates Valentine’s day. I’ve always loved it, even when I was unattached.
I was totally excited about my day, and it turned out almost as well as I had hoped.
It started with a haircut at 9, and of course I stopped at Starbucks first. Then I headed home to pack up my card making supplies. The plan was to head to my sister-in-laws and then to a friend’s house to spend the afternoon making cards, but on my way to my SIL’s my friend called, and both of the girls I was planning to get together with were sick. Bummer, but it did give me more time to spend at my SIL’s. She had called me earlier in the week to help sketch out a rough script for a video they are trying to create for a micro finance program that is being started in India. It was a good afternoon, and I think we got a lot accomplished.
When we wrapped up, I took some time to head to the grocery store, and organize some of my card making supplies. When Lukey got up from his nap, I took the kids to my place, and we watched Prince Caspian and ate frozen pizza for dinner. We had a great time! They are the best valentine’s!
So I realize it’s a day late, but Happy Valentine’s Day!
What can I say, I’m a blog slacker lately. Although I’ve been working in wordpress a lot lately, it’s not here. I have been working on a new site for wellsforlife.org that will utilize wordpress as a content management system, and we are creating a new blog at honeystreet. Rest assured I will post links whenever they are finished. For now here is a sneak peak at my bird. We all made birds for our new hs blog that we are using as our author photo.
