Here’s my story - well, maybe not the whole story, but the part that I’d be willing to publish on the web ;)!
In this season of my life I currently live in Kansas City, and am a graphic designer for a small company called Honeystreet. I love life, and I love what I do.
Previously I’ve lived in SoCal and been on staff at two large churches. (Saddleback in SoCal, and Westside here in KC) Some of the posts you find here may have been written during my time at Saddleback in SoCal. You may also find that more recents posts reflect those experiences.
As a designer I thoroughly enjoy creativity, but more than creativity, I value my relationship with Christ - it’s what’s held me together through all the parts of my story that I won’t publish on the web ;). Well maybe, if you get lucky, I’ll share bits and snippets of it. I believe that according to Romans 8:38 (my life verse), that God works all things together for the good of those who love him, and are called according to his purpose, and am always happy to share my life when it can be used for His glory!
Hope you find something of value here, whether it be pure entertainment, or something more thought provoking.

“God works all things together for the good of those who love him, and are called according to his purpose”
One of my favorite verses!
I found your site from Brian Chandler’s blogroll. I always read the About section before I read the website or blog. It really excites me to see people putting Christ out there, and wearing their cross on their sleeve!
I understand the desire to be creative also, only in a different industry. I have spent almost 30 years as a mechanical designer. I love to create things that solve problems.
Cherish your singleness. I have been happily married for 20 years, and I would not change that for any thing. But I always wonder if I could not have been a better servant for Christ as a single person. I always tell my oldest, she is entering college this week, to wait on the Lord, when she is worrying over some guy. God has a soulmate for you, and will send him to you when he is ready.

What made you leave SoCal? I live here now and I’m so ready to leave. Live in SD. Ready for a life where pretending like you have money isn’t a prime objective of people. Found your blog interesting. Yes, I’m 30+ and single…
