My nephew Micah has started using a word out of context, “soaking”. You know like we would say something is “soaking” wet. Well to Micah, this word means – very, very. So he’ll say things like:
It was soaking fun
I’m soaking tired
It’s soaking hot
Very cute. I love it. In fact it’s so cute, I don’t know that anyone has bothered to explain to him, that the word doesn’t mean very, very. We’ll just let him go right on doing it.
